Julie Puetz, BankStar Financial’s Chief Credit Officer, was recently recognized as the First District Development Company (FDDC) 2020 Lender of the Year. Julie was chosen for her use of creative financing and her passion for helping business owners start or grow their business. She has over 35 years of commercial lending experience and has partnered with FDDC many times to complete projects for her customers.
Julie is active in the local Brookings community and previously served on the Brookings Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, serving as their President in 2015. She was a founder of Women in Leadership and Learning (WILL) networking group and served as the Chair of their Advisory Board for two years.
Julie is inspired daily by her husband, their three children, and three grandchildren.
