First District Development Company’s Board of Directors is made up of eleven individuals from various walks of life. In addition to making decisions on small business loan applications, the FDDC Board is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Certified Development Company. We’d like to introduce you to our newest Board member—Paul Moore.
Paul Moore, Business Banking Manager at Great Western Bank in Watertown, South Dakota, grew up near Estelline, South Dakota, where he attended high school. After graduation, Paul attend South Dakota State University where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics with an Accounting minor.
Ever since Paul completed his formal education, he has been employed by Great Western Bank, working his way up to Business Banking Manager over the last nine years. Paul is responsible for the maintenance and development of a mixed portfolio of commercial and agricultural loans.
Being involved in his community is important to Paul, from coaching youth sports programs in Estelline while in college, to currently volunteering on the Watertown Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Committee and as a Board member of the Lake Area Technical Institute Foundation. In his spare time, Paul enjoys golfing, watching auto racing, and spending time with friends and family. Join us in welcoming Paul Moore as a member of FDDC’s Board of Directors!
